Requirements for Virginia School of Pet Grooming in Manassas Park, VA
is required, but applicants must be at least sixteen years of age (with a
guardians approval) and have a genuine interest in becoming a groomer.
Prospective students must display a sincere love of animals and take part
in a personal interview to determine if their expectations of the grooming
industry are realistic. An enrollment fee of $100.00 is due (non-refundable)
upon application approval. The application, once signed and approved by both
parties and this Handbook becomes a legal and binding contract.

will be a part of the enrollment agreement. All scheduled classes run from
8:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M Monday through Friday. Saturday classes are held for students and all students are required to attend at least two a month or more if they so desire. Class hours may vary from
student to student and on the assignments in which they are working on. In
any case we want you to schedule yourself for those hours to be at school
so there will not be any out side scheduling problems. Due to the nature of grooming break
times and lunches may vary in time and moments that they are taken. There
may also be times when a student will need extra time with the instructor to cover troublesome areas. If this happens we are pleased to set up after hours time for any student that needs extra help.

The length of attendance is determined by the first day of the students attending
class to the last day of attended class. Evaluation of performance will become
a part of the students permanent file. Unexcused absence will not be
tolerated. More than five unexcused absences will result in the student being
dropped from the course. All absences must be verified by
some document to explain the absence. For unexcused absences please refer to enrolment agreement under section 1.04 - Attendance.
